Passion Mind: You came along – Published by Roberto Spike on 11/11/2017
You came along
Fragments of life slipping amongmy hands,
as if it were a small pile of sand
blood drops slide on my arms
while my gaze is kidnapped by the light of a star.
How many times have I desired that the Lady with the sickle,
he would gently accompany me in the realm of lost souls
how many times have I tried in vain, to let me fall into the void
and sink into the abyss inexorably.
Macabre designs, gloomy places and dark landscapes
they made room in my mind reigning sovereigns
alcohol and drugs were water and bread of my life
surrounded by silly and empty people.
You came, my only angel of hope
opening a new world to me and giving me the strength to believe.
the darkness of my mind they now are distant
because I learned what it means to live or perhaps, to reborn.
